About Me

My name is Michael Salfi and I have been involved with and enjoying model railroading since 1975. In that time I have enjoyed all aspects of model railroading such as:

1. Construction of prototypical passenger cars from craftsman kits,
2. Construction of prototypical freight cars from craftsman kits,
3. Construction of prototypical railroad structures from craftsman kits,
4. Construction of city structures from craftsman kits,
5. Detailing of locomotives to resemble the prototype,
6. Painting and weathering of all of the above
7. Layout construction including all required wiring,
8. Layout scenery.

I also enjoy learning about prototype operations of my modelling era, especially passenger operations and passenger equipment used during that timeframe.
