Brass and Plastic Locomotive Upgrades Service
If you have a brass locomotive that doesn't run or runs poorly, I can help. I have improved the operation of brass locomotives with a combination of motor replacement, new gear box, improved driver springs, proper thrust washers and/or correcting minor flaws in connecting rods and valve gear. Let me know what your problem is and I can suggest improvements. If you feel you can implement the upgrades I am happy to simply point out improvements that can help operation, or I can implement the improvements to your locomotives for you. If you have damage to a brass locomotive, I can help. I have repaired damage to several of my own brass locomotives. Let me know the type of the damage you want repaired. It may be necessary to see the model before I can provide an estimate of cost, but simple repairs should be quoteable without my seeing the model. I will also install DCC or DCC and sound into your locomotive. Let me know which locomotive you would like upgraded! As well, I will upgrade stock plastic diesels to include detail parts such that they are more representative of Canadian diesels.
